Summer Fruit Salad with Honey Dressing
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cut strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2-3 cut kiwi
- 1 cup grapes
- 1 cup cut melon or mango
- 1 banana sliced
- 1 apple chopped
- garnish with fresh peppermint (optional)
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup orange juice
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients for dressing together in a large bowl.
- Then add fruit into a bowl mixing as you go along.
- Allow salad to sit for an hour in the fridge. The syrup will marinate with the fruit adding flavor.
- Enjoy as a snack or eat it with yogurt, or on pancakes.
*Do not give raw honey to infants under two years of age. Instead use maple syrup.
