Summer Fruit Salad with Honey Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cut strawberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2-3 cut kiwi
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 1 cup cut melon or mango
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 apple chopped
  • garnish with fresh peppermint (optional)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients for dressing together in a large bowl.
  • Then add fruit into a bowl mixing as you go along. 
  • Allow salad to sit for an hour in the fridge. The syrup will marinate with the fruit adding flavor. 
  • Enjoy as a snack or eat it with yogurt, or on pancakes. 

*Do not give raw honey to infants under two years of age. Instead use maple syrup.
