Massage Service Policies

Cancellations

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, necessitating changes to scheduled appointments. To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible.

To avoid incurring a fee, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for appointment changes. Please be aware that full payment is required for any appointment cancelled within this 48-hour window. Similarly, if you fail to cancel or miss your scheduled appointment, full payment will be due immediately. 

For cancellations made prior to 48 hours’ notice, please note that all refunds are subject to a non-refundable service fee when processed through credit card or payment processing services. This fee is assessed by the payment processing companies utilized and is not under the control of Hand to Soul LLC.

This policy is in place to maintain the sustainability of our business while ensuring fair treatment for all clients. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Arrivals

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time. If a service begins late due to client tardiness, the service will still end at the originally scheduled appointment time. All service times listed are approximate, and may include periods of relaxation or down time. You will be charged the full service price.

Reservations

Advanced reservations are suggested for all services. A credit card or gift card number is required in order to reserve services. We recommend that you make an appointment two weeks ahead of time, especially for weekend, evening or 10am appointments, as we tend to book up very quickly. For appointments lasting longer than an hour, couples’ services, group appointments or private classes or events or privately hosted events or classes, we require a valid credit card to hold the appointment when booking. 

Service Conduct

Zero Tolerance Policy:

As a professional establishment, we uphold a zero tolerance policy regarding any form of solicitation.

Jokes, innuendos, and inappropriate requests are treated with the utmost seriousness. Any violation will lead to immediate termination of the appointment. The session fee will be collected in full, and privileges to book future appointments will be forfeited.

We reserve the right to stop service at any time at our discretion.

Draping Policy

At Hand to Soul, we prioritize the privacy and comfort of our clients while upholding the professional standards of our practice. To ensure this, proper draping is essential. The groin, genitalia, and buttocks cleft must be covered at all times using linens. This policy is firm and non-negotiable, serving to maintain both the dignity of our clients and the professionalism of our therapists.

Late Arrivals

We kindly request your punctuality for appointments. In the event of tardiness, your treatment will be adjusted accordingly to fit within the remaining scheduled time. This ensures that we can maintain the integrity of our schedule and respect the time of subsequent patients. Failure to arrive within 15 minutes of your appointment time will be considered a No Show, subject to our corresponding policies.

We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in honoring our time and commitment to providing quality care.

Packages

Service Packages are non-refundable and have no cash value. Package treatments, services or classes may not be exchanged for other services.

Sanitation Practices and Policy

Our top priority has always been to bring a safe experience of healing and rejuvenation to our guests, hygiene and sanitation is our top priority. We will continue to follow local, state and national regulations regarding the safe operation of massage therapy wellness centers. Here is a list of some of our additional protocols: each room will be disinfected in-between each guest, all guests are asked to wash hands upon entering, hand sanitizer is placed in treatment room, all high traffic areas are wiped down throughout the day, we will wear masks upon your request during your service, we use hospital grade disinfectant, we do not allow anyone that is sick to enter the studio.

Health Issues

It is the guest responsibility to inform Hand to Soul of any health issues and medications before receiving any treatment and of any changes in health and medication prior to treatments. This includes symptoms related to COVID-19, allergies, coughing, fevers etc. 

Forms of Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash, as well as Hand to Soul gift cards.

Refund and Return Policy

Please read and be familiar with our returns and refund policies before purchasing products or services. For refunds, please note that all refunds are subject to a non-refundable service fee when processed through credit card or payment processing services. This fee is assessed by the payment processing companies utilized and is not under the control of Hand to Soul LLC. We appreciate you doing business with us and supporting our small, local business.

Workshops, Classes and Courses

Hand to Soul, LLC has a no refund policy for workshops, courses, trainings, and classes for both in-person events and those held online. This includes reiki trainings, mentoring classes, live virtual classes, yoga classes and any and all events.

Autopay Subscriptions

For all autopay subscriptions, Hand to Soul, LLC will charge your debit or credit card automatically each month. If you wish to terminate your autopay, please provide a 30 days written notice to hello@handtosoulhealing.com. If you terminate your autopay, you are always welcome to reinstate it at the current rate. There are no holds, extensions, or transfers allowed. The autopay subscription can only be used by the subscriber. There are no refunds or credits for charges that have already been processed.  Autopay does not include workshops or events.

Private classes

Must provide three days notice of cancellation to hello@handtosoulhealing.com for a refund. No refunds are given outside of these conditions. Refunds are subject to a payment processing service fee.

Deposits

There are no refunds on deposits. This includes deposits made to hold a space in a class, workshop or special events. Deposits made as a partial payment for services such as reiki, Thai massage, sound healing and other services listed on the service menu are refundable if within 48 hours cancellation policy or can be used toward future appointments if rescheduling. 

Products

There are no refunds for handmade goods, one-of-a-kind items, and perishable items. Returns can be made for unopened, unused items with the tags still attached and with valid receipts within 7 days of the date of purchase. All discounted items and clearance items are final sales and ineligible for refunds or exchanges. Returns and exchanges must be done in person only. All refunds are subject to a service fee of 10 percent. 

Digital Products

There are no refunds on digital products (ebooks, courses, meditation albums etc.). Once a purchase is made, you have immediate access to the product and will not receive a refund.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@handtosoulhealing.com. Items that are unopened, unused may be exchanged within 7 days of purchase with a valid receipt. 

Giftcards

You may purchase gift cards in any dollar amount for services, products, and gratuities. All gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash. Gift certificates expire one year from the date of purchase. We regret that lost or stolen gift cards and gift certificates will not be replaced. Refunds are subject to a 10 percent service fee.

Shipping and Returns

Shipped items are ineligible for returns, exchanges or refunds.
