Hydrating Cucumber Infused Water
Ever tried soaking cucumbers in your water before you drink it? It’s very refreshing and cleansing for the digestive system. It also is pretty tasty. Here’s my quick and easy recipe for cucumber infused water.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/2 lemon
- sprig of fresh mint
Instructions:
- Throughly wash cucumber and lemon. Using vinegar helps removes any dirt on skin.
- Slice the cucumber leaving the skin on if it organic. Remove the skin if it is not organic.
- Thinly slice the lemon, removing any seeds.
- Chop the fresh peppermint, you can use the stems too!
- Place all ingredients in a 32 ounce jar. Use a spoon to stir and allow them it to infuse overnight in the fridge.
- Drink the next day and enjoy.
This drink is very hydrating and an excellent for the digestive system. Use the other half of the lemon and cucumber for your next batch the following day.
