With changing trends in COVID 19 spread and variants, we will do our best to make updates often on our website, Facebook page, and through emails if we have to update policies based on new laws and regulations.
Social Distancing
We cannot maintain a six foot distance from you during your reiki treatment, massage or other healing service. With this comes risks as you will be in close proximity with your massage therapist. If you have a fever or have been ill, or have been around someone who is ill, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. Read our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
High Risk Populations
The CDC states 75 percent of COVID-related deaths have occurred among people over 65 years old. While aging is not a medical condition, it is considered a high risk factor for severe COVID-19. Other high risk populations include people with lung disease such as COPD, type 1 or type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, pregnancy, and people with immune compromised conditions including but not limited to cancer, lupus, multiple sclerosis, genetic disorders, kidney disease, Crohn’s disease, and HIV .
If you are considered to be in a high risk population, we ask that you be aware of the risks when arriving for an in-person treatment. We do our best to keep the cleanliness of the facility, however, we cannot eliminate the potential risk factors. There are many services we offer that can be done virtually and these significantly reduce the risk as there is no in-person contact. These services include distant reiki, private yoga and meditation classes held on Zoom, private self-massage lessons, virtual stress reduction techniques, and online courses.
Masks
Masks are not mandated in the state of Florida or in Pinellas County at this time. However, if you prefer to wear a mask for additional safety we encourage you to and if you would like your massage therapist to wear we will gladly do so while in our facility.
Hand Sanitizer
Hand sanitizer is available upon entry into the building and we ask that you wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival.
Cleanliness
We pay special attention to wipe down and sanitize every surface that might have been touched using hospital grade disinfectants.
Diffusers
We use essential oils with disinfecting, anti-viral, antimicrobial properties in our diffuser to clean the air during the treatment and in between clients. This helps circulate the aromatic oils into the air and clean the air throughout your session.
